BAYweb Remote The BAYweb Remote device provides remote monitoring, control, and alerting for your home and office. Control your lights and other devices from your web browser or mobile phone. The alerting feature can be used as a self monitored security system. Monitoring The BAYweb Remote utilizes 3 wired inputs and an unlimited number of X10 wireless sensors.

The wired inputs can use sensors that use either normally open, or normally closed contacts. When wired in series, up to 16 sensors can be used on a single input channel. The wired inputs are typically used for smoke alarms or other sensors that also require power to operate. These inputs are also ideal to use when retrofitting an existing alarm system.

The wireless X10 inputs support an unlimited number of sensors programmed with the X10 house/unit ID for a given zone. Wireless X10 occupancy sensors are economical and effective for sensing intrusions.

Control

The BAYweb Remote provides 6 output relays which are controlled based on a schedule, manually using the web or mobile portals, and/or based on input signals. Each scheduled activity provides the ability to turn any of the outputs ON or OFF or leave unchanged. Outputs can also be configured to turn on for a period of time, and can be joined to control bidirectional valves. Remote control nominal response time is less than 10 seconds.

Control commands are queued, so a temporary interruption in local Internet service will not affect remote control operation.

Alerting

The BAYweb Remote provides alert notification of up to 8 different zones via email and/or text enabled mobile phone.

Upon sensing an alert condition, the remote will immediately send a message to our data center, which in turn will send the alert message to the list of recipients configured for that zone. An output can also be activated for a period of time whenever a new alert is sent, providing local alert annunciation.

Nominal response time for dispatching the notification message from our data center is 3 seconds. Delivery time of the message is dependent on your Internet or mobile provider.

Once an alert has been sent, it will not be sent again until a configurable time period has elapsed for that zone. An alert is also provided if the Internet connection goes down, and when it is restored.

The alert system can be armed or disarmed using the web and/or mobile portals.

Logging

The sensor data is acquired whenever there is an alert. The alert log shows of all alerts sent for the past 90 days. The sensor log graphically depicts sensor activity over time for the past 7 days.

Operate your web devices anytime, anywhere, via web browser or web-enabled mobile phone. Unlimited use of the BAYweb portal is included at no additional charge. This state-of-the-art portal provides real time monitoring, control, alerting, data logging, and reporting for an unlimited number of BAYweb devices.
